I witnessed to a friend of mine here at work. She is from a baptist background but she doesn’t go to church anymore. I talked to her about what God does in my life week after week by serving at Flamingo Road Church, and after a while I realized that we really need a campus here up north. I have to drive all the way to Lake Worth every morning, about 55 minutes, and even though when I tell people that I have that big a commute, I am now used to it. I use the time to listen to music, podcasts, audiobooks or talk to friends over the phone (don’t worry, I have a hands-free device).
The best I could do is tell her to visit our online campus, which would be better for her than going all the way down to Sawgrass (our northern-most campus). I am excited about Troy’s vision of 50 campuses and in my prayer time, I always ask God to let me be an instrument to reach more people to come to making Him the CEO of their lives. I wish we could have a place where my friend can come worship every weekend with her husband and 2 sons. Can’t wait to see all the amazing things God has prepared for us. He is preparing us for what he has prepared for us.
