F3 Recap

Flamingo Film Festival was a total success this past weekend. The gala event on Friday night helped to thank our great team of volunteers for their amazing job during this year, but it was also an amazing opportunity to thank the Godfather of the video team, our very own Brian Vasil. He single handedly started the video team at Flamingo back in 1,999 so he was the keynote speaker for the event and we were so glad to thank him for doing an amazing job during these years and the fact that we have a very productive team in place right now is a reflection of his awesome work. There was also great food, lots of prizes, games and we awarded 3 MVP (Most Valuable Producers) awards. The winners were Evan Garcia, Maria Ramirez and Luis Cardona. These guys, along with all our team of volunteers are off the hook!

Then we had the teams distribution. 4 different teams had to come up with a 3 to 5 minute movie that would represent one of the values that we believe in at Flamingo Road Church, a genre, an actor and a prop. The competition would start Saturday morning at 6 AM and the film was due at noon. Let me tell you, it was a lot of fun. Today I’m posting a slideshow recap video.
